Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 2021

Level Up Holding Co. Inc. ("LittleBird") describes its cookie practices through golittlebird.com (the "Site"). The policy explains how cookies and similar technologies store preferences, deliver targeted ads, enable content, and collect analytics data, plus how users can manage them.

What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on a computer or other device and is used to identify the user or device and to collect information. Cookies fall into four categories based on function: absolutely necessary, performance, functional, and marketing-related.

Types of Cookies and Their Use

Absolutely Necessary Cookies: Essential for website navigation and requested services like login functionality.

Performance Cookies: Gather data on Site usage including browsers, operating systems, visit frequency, duration, and pages viewed. This information remains aggregated and anonymous, helping improve user experience.

Functionality Cookies: Remember user choices such as usernames, language preferences, and settings to provide enhanced features while remaining anonymized.

Managing Cookies

Users can manage cookies through web browser settings in Edge, Explorer, Chrome, Safari, and other browsers. If you choose to change your settings, you may find that certain functions and features will not work as intended.

Additional Technologies

Web Beacons: Electronic images used to deliver cookies, count visitors, provide services, and measure promotional effectiveness. These may appear in marketing emails to track opens and link clicks.

Web Server & Application Logs: Servers automatically collect administrative and protective data including IP addresses, device identifiers, operating systems, geographic location, pages visited, entered information, clicked elements, and URLs.

Interest-Based Advertising (IBA)

IBA delivers targeted advertisements based on browsing content and interests. Advertising cookies track device activity to group similar interests and display relevant ads.

Opting Out: Users can decline IBA at optout.aboutads.info, through the Network Advertising Initiative at networkadvertising.org/choices, or in the EU at youronlinechoices.com. Opting out means ads won't be customized, though users still see advertisements.

Mobile Device Advertising

Mobile devices have identifiers enabling targeted ad serving. Users can disable ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers in device privacy settings. The AppChoices App (youradchoices.com/appchoices) provides additional control. Location tracking can also be disabled, though ads may remain less relevant.

Do Not Track

Due to the lack of a common interpretation of DNT signals throughout the industry, we do not currently alter, change, or respond to DNT requests or signals.

Social Network Connections

Services may include social features like Facebook "Like" buttons and share widgets. Users connecting via social logins may have authentication information stored. Third parties may collect IP addresses and set cookies. LittleBird isn't responsible for third-party security or privacy practices.

Third-Party Links and Services

Services contain links to unaffiliated third-party apps, tools, and websites including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Third-party privacy practices follow their own terms and policies. LittleBird assumes no responsibility for third-party data security.

Withdrawing Cookie Consent

Users who provided consent for cookie processing retain the right to withdraw by contacting [email protected]. Withdrawal may require case-by-case consent for using or disclosing cookies needed for service access.
